As the curtains lifted, the anchors stepped into the ostentatious shoes of some of the chief characters from the enchanting universe of ‘Wicked,’ adding an uncanny, ethereal energy that captivated the room.
The spotlight, however, shone brightest on Robin Roberts who dared to defy gravity as the indomitable and green-skinned Elphaba. Commanding the stage with her vivacious performance, Roberts showcased an invincible spirit that echoed the tenacity and resilience of the misunderstood witch she portrayed.
