‘The Bear’ Season 4 Trailer: Jeremy Allen White Scrambles More Than Just Eggs to Salvage His Flailing Formal Restaurant

Jeremy Allen White‘s iconic Carmy almost can’t take the heat from the pressures of running a kitchen. Beloved Hulu show “The Bear” is back for Season 4, with the first look showing financier Cicero (Oliver Platt) pushing Carmy (White) to save his restaurant as time ticks by. A new clock in the kitchen of The Bear, the eponymous fine dining restaurant that Carmy opened in Season 3, reminds the characters (and viewers) that it’s a countdown until The Bear is out of money.

The fourth season will debut with all 10 episodes. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Matty Matheson, and Lionel Boyce all reprise their roles, with Jon Bernthal, Ricky Staffieri, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Molly Gordon as recurring cast members. “The Bear” is created by Christopher Storer who also serves as an executive producer alongside Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, Hiro Murai, Nate Matteson, and Matheson. Storer also directs most of the episodes.

As of Season 3, “The Bear” has won 10 Emmys to date (13 nominations), including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for White, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Moss-Bachrach, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Edebiri. “The Bear” first debuted in 2022.

Outside of “The Bear,” White’s career is roaring: The actor is set to co-star alongside Austin Butler in A24 thriller “Enemies,” produced by Ari Aster. The feature is set to kick off production in Chicago (AKA the home of “The Bear”) later this summer. White will also portray Bruce Springsteen in biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” which unveiled its first footage at CinemaCon. Jeremy Strong plays Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau in the film that is directed by Scott Cooper; it’s set during Springsteen’s recording of his album “Nebraska.” Springsteen has already praised White’s performance, saying he sings “very well” in the feature.

“The Bear” casting director Jeanie Bacherach previously told IndieWire that she knew White would be a star. “I can’t say it was a find because he was on ‘Shameless,’ but before the show was picked up to pilot I came on board with Chris and Joanna and other producers to put together almost like a look book, a pitch to get it over the line at FX to have them move forward. […] Jeremy was part of that initial group, but we all went into it thinking he’d be incredible but he’s probably not gonna want to go to another series, he’s just finishing a long run, it’s Chicago, maybe too many similarities. So we continued to talk about people with Jeremy always like the little angel right on your shoulder, because we didn’t want to fall in love with Jeremy too soon because we just weren’t sure it was going to work,” Bacherach said. “There were other people talked about and explored, but Jeremy was the one. Can’t imagine otherwise.”

“The Bear” Season 4 premieres June 25 on Hulu. Check out the trailer below.
